Dr Simon Jones

After qualifying from Newcastle University in 2000 I did my GP training in the North East of England. I then worked as a locum GP and gained a diploma in Tropical Medicine. Since then I have worked in South Sudan with MSF, Guatemala, New Zealand, and on expeditions around the world. My wife and I moved to Kendal in 2012 because of our passion for rock climbing and cycling. I worked as a GP at Westmorland General Hospital for eighteen months before joining the James Cochrane Practice. I have a particular interest in Palliative Care, Travel Medicine and Emergency Care.
