AskMyGP – The Results are in…

We recently asked you to share your experiences of our AskMyGP system. As a reminder, or for those that didn’t see it, Dr Paul Atkinson introduced the survey in this video.

Firstly, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that participated in completing the survey.

Do you love it, or do you loathe it?

The results are in, the data has been counted and analysed, to answer one question…do you love it, or do you loathe it?

What did you tell us?

We have been working with a Quality Service Improvement Facilitator, and have used a range of data analysing techniques, to really understand what you are telling us. The word clouds give you an insight…

Why do you Love it?                                                                           Why do you loathe it?

We’ve asked ourselves the same question…

Through focus groups and meetings we’ve reflected on the last 12 months with our new system – what have been our high points, and what have been our low points? Does the system work for us? Are we more efficient now? Are we treating people the way we want to be treated?

The next steps…

Our feedback is being considered alongside yours as part of the review. Our system needs to be fit for the future; it needs to meet the needs of each of you, and of our large clinical and non-clinical teams.

Being sure that we are moving in the right direction for everyone is important, and involving everyone in the process is really exciting!

We are looking forward to sharing any resulting changes with you soon, so watch this space…
